Log off for ameliorate overall health - Camp Lejeune Globe
Over the lifetime couple decades, the human race has made great strides in technological advances. I mean, anyone keep in mind when your parents would yell at you to get off the internet so they could make a phone call. These advances were supposed to improve our overall quality of entity, but it seems, as always, you can have too much of a good thing. Mentally, technology is affecting our stress, anxiety and fatigue levels. You’re plugged in 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Someone could exercise book you any second now. We all need some alone time, and technology is the enemy of alone time. Technology also raises disquiet in different ways for different people. The one I find amusing (everyone knows someone who suffers from this) is "cyberchondria. Poetically, a cyberchondriac is also abnormally anxious about his health, but this person takes it one step further by searching his symptoms online and basically giving himself a diagnosis. Don’t search for your symptoms online unless you requisite to mentally panic. Another type of anxiety caused by technology, or actually lack thereof, is "disconnectivity anxiety. " This one, I’ve undoubtedly experienced myself. com , disconnectivity anxiety is "a persistent and unpleasant condition characterized by worry and unease caused by periods of technological disconnection from others. " The fearsome moment when your phone dies, and you pull out your portable charger, but that stupid thing is dead too. It’s never charged, so why do you even have it. Or, how about when you get effectively and you realize you’ve left your phone at work. What if you never find the phone again. You don’t even know half of the names in your phone’s communication list, let alone the numbers. Technology has made it too easy for you, so the thought of going without it is enough anxiety for anyone. Emotionally, technology is changing our upper classes one angst-filled teenager at a time. Children nowadays are so connected with technology, they aren’t developing thriving social skills. They have too much television, social media and texting going on in their brains. What happened to actual phizog-to-face conversations. With our interactions becoming less personal every day, how can children be expected to learn and put one's finger on non-verbal cues, which can be more important than the actual words people say. The other major emotional problem technology is creating involves a teen’s ineptness to become independent. Parents can use technology to "helicopter" their children like you wouldn’t believe. With GPS trackers, shared passwords and sexual media, children are constantly under the eye of their parents. They are never alone. How can kids be expected to learn from mistakes if they aren’t allowed to divulge them. Even when a teen moves out and is "on their own," mom and dad are just a text away to help with any problem, not just emergencies. Physically, technology is wrecking our already infirm society. Let’s skip over the obvious obesity and texting while driving/walking issues. Also, yes, there are fitness trackers and apps which pirate improve health, sure, but in many inconspicuous ways, technology is. Source: www.camplejeuneglobe.com

"“Fobes’ novel is a pleasingly diverse mix: a decorated soldier with a father void and a thing for the woman who affects him like no other; a resurrected town shackled by nasty Russians; and a secret society in need of a new recruit. An entertaining blend of erotic romance, Russian baddies and revved-up motorcycles.” - Kirkus Reviews
